Privacy Policy
Introduction
Partial Screen ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our macOS application.
Data Collection
Partial Screen works locally on your Mac and never uploads what you share. We only collect what the license needs, described below. The application contains no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
If you fill in our optional pricing survey, we store your answers together with your account. We use them only to improve Partial Screen and to set its pricing, and we do not share them with third parties.
When the app runs with a license, it sends the license key and the serial number of your Mac to our server at launch. We record the days on which the app ran and use them only to confirm that invited colleagues actively use Partial Screen.
Screen Recording
The app requires screen recording permissions to function. All screen capture data remains on your device and is only used for the purpose of sharing the selected screen portion during your video calls. No screen data is stored, transmitted, or shared with us or any third parties.
Local Storage
The app may store user preferences and settings locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is used solely to improve your experience with the application.
Third-Party Services
Partial Screen does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
This website measures visits with Umami, which we run on our own server at analytics.strategio.dev. It is not a third-party service: the data stays with us and is shared with nobody. Umami sets no cookies and records no personal data. The application itself is not measured at all.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
